# Chapter 75
The internet-addicted kids rarely went out when there was no competition. Every time they managed to leave the base, Zhou Huo would usually book a table at a restaurant so the team members could eat outside before heading home. Today Zhou Huo had also reserved a table at a place, but considering they had just lost to Saint, going out for a group dinner would be too conspicuous—inviting criticism from the haters. After some thought, Zhou Huo decided to listen to Old Qiao and had the driver take everyone back to the base.
"If there's anything you guys want to eat, I can go buy it for you." Zhou Huo had just witnessed several players being trained by Old Qiao to build resilience against pressure, and his heart still ached for his players. He proactively offered, "It'll be quick."
Old Qiao furrowed his brow. "What to buy? The aunt already made food. If you go buy more, who's going to eat what the aunt prepared?"
"Don't bother." Yu Sui had been paying attention to Shi Luo ever since they got in the car, and said distractedly, "We lost the match. We're criminals deserving punishment. We should be grateful for any food we get. What right do we have to complain?"
"Exactly." Puppy added lazily, following along, "According to the haters' logic, losing one regular season match means we should throw ourselves into a lake. How could we have the face to eat? Don't we have any sense of shame? I have a proposal—let the aunt skip the meat dishes tonight. Manager Zhou takes a photo of us all eating vegetarian to calm the public down. What do you think?"
"Calm my ass." Chen Huo refused without hesitation, "We lost one match, and the haters will trash us overnight anyway. Do we really need to eat vegetarian? Is it to mourn my in-game waifu who died in today's match?!"
Zhou Huo wanted to laugh but was too frustrated. "Fine, fine, I shouldn't have opened my mouth. We'll eat what the aunt made. We'll eat what the aunt made."
After returning to the base and eating the home-cooked meal the aunt prepared, Zhou Huo checked the time. "It's almost nine o'clock. You've been exhausted all day. Why don't we just rest tonight?"
Shi Luo was once again the last one still eating. His heart stirred, and he remembered what he said to Yu Sui after the match ended.
If they didn't train tonight, there would still be several hours before they both went to rest. He could definitely...
"No resting." Yu Sui took a napkin and wiped his fingers, instructing, "You guys go wash up. Be in the training room at ten o'clock, on time."
Shi Luo internally sighed.
Shi Luo lowered his head to finish his meal, thinking dejectedly that Yu Sui apparently wasn't in the mood to be "handled."
Yu Sui was negotiating with Old Qiao, "Find four practice partners. They need to be professionals who can form a complete team. Get a medic with solid technical skills. I'll brief them on Saint's tactics from today's match. Ten o'clock, get on the machines while it's fresh. Targeted drills."
Old Qiao nodded. "Otherwise you should rest too. I'll talk to the practice partners?"
"No." Yu Sui shook his head. "Others can't explain it clearly. Besides, there's still something I need to assign."
Seeing that Yu Sui still wouldn't allow rest, Zhou Huo was about to urge him to reconsider. But hearing that Yu Sui was talking about real business, Zhou Huo couldn't say much more. He just thought about the haters' comments online and felt even more agitated. They had just lost the match, and their mindset wasn't fully adjusted yet, and now they had to start targeted training. Weren't they working hard enough?!
Zhou Huo planned to capture footage of the four-person extra training session later, so he said, "Don't train too long. Let's end at one o'clock tonight. Old Qiao, keep an eye on things. Don't stay late again."
Old Qiao agreed, but not before reminding Yu Sui, "You go boot up first. The practice partners will be here within fifteen minutes."
Yu Sui stood up. "If it's going to take fifteen minutes, I'll go rinse off too. After washing up, I'll wait in the training room for the practice partners."
Old Qiao nodded. "Then hurry. You better go."
Shi Luo, who had been focused on eating heartily at the side, lifted his head at this and glanced at Yu Sui across the room.
Shi Luo quickly finished his rice, stood up, and went upstairs.
Shi Luo was in a hurry too.
They had been out playing all day and had even lost the match. Everyone was exhausted and desperate for a shower and rest. Yu Sui required them in the training room at ten o'clock. Chen Huo and Puppy wouldn't show up until at least 9:59 if they were lucky. And if Old Qiao was lucky, he might be doing a replay review with the data analyst on the first floor. Then the training room would only have Yu Sui!
Just Yu Sui alone!
This relationship with Yu Sui was so difficult. The two of them had so little time alone together. They had to seize every moment and make the most of all their spare time.
Shi Luo returned to his dorm, quickly took a shower, blow-dried his hair, changed into his own clothes, and checked the time: 9:20.
Shi Luo left his dorm, closed the door behind him, and headed toward the training room.
Passing by Chen Huo's dorm door, he could even hear Chen Huo singing in the shower. Shi Luo felt relieved. Slowly, he walked to the training room door, gently hooked his finger around it, and peeked inside.
The training room was indeed empty—except for Yu Sui.
Yu Sui was sitting at Old Qiao's station with his back to Shi Luo, facing the computer monitor and speaking on Bluetooth earphones with the data analyst.
"The practice partners will find it much simpler now. Have them review Game 2... Mhm..." Yu Sui picked up a pen, flipped open Old Qiao's notebook, and wrote a few notes. "Mhm, we don't need to do Game 1."
Yu Sui hadn't noticed Shi Luo entering the training room. While writing the review points, he continued, "Which medic did you find? Oh, I know him..."
The other person said something, and Yu Sui replied flatly, "Of course I know him. Active or retired, which medic in the league don't I know?"
Shi Luo leaned against the training room door. Hearing this, he stopped in his tracks.
He needed to build up immunity to all the other three teammates' "impervious bodies" if he wanted to get through this. Shi Luo understood he still had a way to go.
For example, Yu Sui had just casually mentioned he knew all the medics, and Shi Luo's heart had clenched a bit.
Maybe it was because the comment from today's match was still lingering, or maybe it was his obsessive possessiveness toward Yu Sui acting up again. Right now, hearing that sentence, Shi Luo felt a little uncomfortable.
Shi Luo raised his hand and gently knocked on the door.
Yu Sui instantly turned around. In the moment their eyes met, Yu Sui instinctively reached up and touched his Bluetooth earphones and said abruptly, "Oh, about what I just said about the medics—I want to emphasize one more point. I even know the medics who transferred to other teams."
Shi Luo: "..."
"Very well." Yu Sui's eyes were on Shi Luo, his tone extremely serious as he spoke to the data analyst, "Hm? It's nothing. I just suddenly wanted to emphasize how incredibly well-connected I am, that's all. Don't worry about it, keep going with what you were saying."
Shi Luo barely maintained his cool expression, controlling the corners of his mouth from turning up.
Shi Luo walked to Yu Sui's side and sat on the desk in front of him. His posture was somewhat disrespectful, but Shi Luo didn't do anything—not even made a sound. He just quietly watched Yu Sui without disturbing his phone call.
Yu Sui's speed of arranging the review noticeably quickened. In less than three minutes, Yu Sui hung up.
Yu Sui removed his Bluetooth earphones and tossed them aside carelessly. He looked at Shi Luo, holding back laughter as he seriously asked, "Did you come here to mess with me?"
Yu Sui was very straightforward. "I won't move. Whatever you want to do, just do it."
Shi Luo held back again and again, but still couldn't help but lower his head and laugh a little.
He talked tough, but when it came time to actually do something, he couldn't bring himself to do it. Especially not in the training room.
Compared to Shi Luo, Yu Sui was much more at ease. Yu Sui stated frankly, "Go ahead. I won't call out."
Shi Luo felt his palms grow hot from Yu Sui's teasing. He quickly glanced at the training room door, frowned and said resentfully, "The door isn't locked..."
"It's fine." A hint of amusement appeared in Yu Sui's eyes. He whispered, "My face is thick. I'm not afraid of being laughed at."
Shi Luo gritted his teeth. "I'm afraid!"
Yu Sui held back his laughter. "Then are you not going to mess with me?"
Shi Luo swept his eyes over Yu Sui from top to bottom. The more he looked, the more he liked him.
Handsome face, good figure, hands that were exactly the type hand-lovers liked most. Below that, his waist looked slim but was actually quite strong. And those long legs were attractive too...
Shi Luo ground his teeth. Yu Sui, who was perfect in every way, was right here, and he actually couldn't make a move!
It wasn't hard to get physical, but if Old Qiao or someone pushed the door open and caught them... that would be too embarrassing.
If it were just Old Qiao, it would be manageable. But if that big mouth Chen Huo saw it, that would be a disaster. Chen Huo couldn't keep any secret to save his life. If he found out, probably in a few days, even the Saint Club all the way in Germany would know about Shi Luo suddenly getting horned up and trying to make a move on Yu Sui in the training room.
Yu Sui knew in his heart that Shi Luo actually had even more self-control than he did. It was hard for him to do anything in public. He deliberately teased him, "Otherwise, just one kiss?"
Shi Luo's heart stirred. He glanced at the training room door again. He thought resentfully, Why couldn't this room have a lock?!
"Don't keep looking. Even if there was a lock, you wouldn't dare." Yu Sui smiled, stood up, and ran his hand through Shi Luo's hair. He whispered softly, "Since you're not going to mess with me... have you adjusted your emotions?"
Shi Luo lowered his eyes, was silent for a moment, and said, "Almost."
"Just now in the car, I wasn't being hard on you like Zhou Huo said..." Yu Sui paused, explaining for himself, "This is a necessary part of your journey. If I try to be overprotective and hold you back, it won't help. You have to get used to it eventually."
"I know." Shi Luo rubbed his neck, frowning. "The haters weren't completely wrong either. My expression really wasn't good during Game 2. Fortunately, you three aren't easily affected by negative emotions. Otherwise, you might have actually caught it from me. I really should be more careful. I shouldn't..."
"Shh..." Yu Sui interrupted Shi Luo, chuckling softly, "I wanted to comfort you, not to have you reflect on yourself."
Yu Sui was very close to Shi Luo. When he spoke, his breath could brush against Shi Luo's face. Shi Luo looked at Yu Sui's jaw, his heart itchy, and really wanted to kiss Yu Sui. But he still couldn't break through the barrier in his heart. Shi Luo looked around to distract himself and muttered quietly, "How are you comforting me..."
"Your eyes are all red and bloodshot..." Yu Sui reached for his peripherals bag and took out eye drops. "Let me put eye drops in for you. Would that count as comfort?"
Yu Sui looked at Shi Luo. "Don't you hate putting in eye drops yourself?"
Shi Luo's heart warmed. He rubbed his eyes and nodded.
Shi Luo followed Yu Sui's lead, closed his eyes, and lifted his head. With his eyes closed, he couldn't see anything. He could only feel Yu Sui's slightly cool hands gently rub his forehead.
Shi Luo felt Yu Sui use his fingertips to gently massage his temples. Shi Luo took a comfortable deep breath.
This really counted as comfort.
After a moment, Shi Luo felt the eye drops enter his eyes.
Shi Luo's eyes instantly felt much more comfortable. Then he heard Yu Sui say, "Keep your eyes closed for three minutes."
Shi Luo nodded lightly.
For some unknown reason, Shi Luo had been afraid of putting in eye drops since he was young. He had an inexplicable reverence for the whole process. After getting the eye drops in, following Yu Sui's words, he seriously and motionlessly waited like a kindergartener, head raised, waiting for the three minutes to pass.
Shi Luo heard Yu Sui say again, "Don't move..."
Shi Luo obediently replied, "I won't move."
Yu Sui's movements were gentle. Shi Luo's eyes felt no discomfort at all. The tense muscles in Shi Luo's body gradually relaxed.
But the next second, the unprepared Shi Luo felt something brush his lips, then invade inside.
Shi Luo: "!"
Shi Luo didn't dare open his eyes. He ground his teeth internally. Yu Sui, you trickster... too many tricks.
Three minutes later, after getting a thorough kiss, Yu Sui released Shi Luo and chuckled softly. "You can open your eyes now."
Shi Luo's ears were bright red. He turned to glance at the training room door, which was properly closed, and stammered, "Wh-what if... you..."
"The agreement was that when we got back to the base, you'd come mess with me." Yu Sui sat back down at Old Qiao's station. There was a smile in his voice as he said, "I was originally thinking about how this would go. I've been waiting the whole time. Who knew you'd chicken out at the last moment. What could I do?"
