# Chapter 89
A few minutes ago, Yu Sui had already quickly formulated several plans in his mind. He'd figured he'd call a lawyer during lunch when Time Luo wasn't around, find a trustworthy attorney for Time Luo, and delegate all the potential troubles to the lawyer. Best case scenario, Time Loo's family wouldn't be able to contact him directly.
Yu Sui's original plan was thorough, but at this moment, plans one, two, and three all gradually faded away, leaving only Time Loo's words—"I let a man screw me senseless"—lingering endlessly in his mind.
Yu Sui stared at Time Luo, absolutely stunned. Nearly three years, and Time Loo's tried-and-true explosive self-destructive attacks still left Yu Sui completely speechless every single time.
"Babe, your dad just threw a pair of threes..." Yu Sui tried to be diplomatic, "and you just played a Wild Card right out of the gate. Isn't that a bit reckless?"
Being the one to come out, Time Luo felt a bit unsteady himself. He stammered, "I-I didn't say it was you."
"I'm not worried about that." Yu Sui walked inside and picked up Time Loo's phone. It happened to be locked, so Yu Sui pulled up the recent call log, copied Time Loo's dad's phone number, texted it to himself, then navigated to the call forwarding settings and stopped there. He looked up at Time Luo. "Can this be set up?"
Time Luo hadn't processed what was happening yet. He blanked, "Set up what?"
"What do you think? Transfer your dad's calls to me, can we do that?" Yu Sui said. "All your friends are basically from the scene. They contact you through WeChat or game friend channels. Besides food delivery, the only person who'd call you is probably your dad. Let's forward his calls to me first, okay?"
Time Luo frowned. "He's so annoying, but no—you don't understand what he's trying to do, he's—"
"I know. I'm not bothered by it." Time Luo hadn't explicitly refused, so Yu Sui just input his own phone number, set up the call forwarding, then returned the phone to Time Luo and patted his forehead. "From now on I'll receive your takeout for you every day. Is that thorough service? There, not so hot anymore."
Smart as Time Luo was, it only took a moment for him to figure it out. He said awkwardly, "Did my cousin contact you?"
"Not much." Yu Sui pulled up his chat history with Ke Hao and showed it to Time Luo. "Just got off the phone with him. He told me your grandpa was hospitalized a few days ago, but he's fine now, don't worry. I figured your dad might try to reach you..."
Yu Sui thought about Time Loo's earlier move and still found it absolutely legendary. He laughed. "I just didn't expect you'd come out directly."
"Came out came out, it's not like I've got anything to apologize for." Time Luo looked down at his call settings, hesitated. "If he calls again, you—"
"I'll just say I'm your attorney, handling things on your behalf. You've already come out to him, what else could you possibly be afraid of?" Yu Sui took off his jacket. "Don't worry about it. If your dad calls again or there's really something from home, I'll let you know. But he's so afraid of ruining your grandpa's impression of him, and you're being this bold, he probably won't dare to bother you for now. Have you freshened up? Are you hungry?"
Time Luo nodded, then shook his head. "Freshened up, not hungry yet... No, wait, you—"
Time Luo narrowed his eyes at his phone's call settings, looking at Yu Sui with uncertainty. "You don't think it's a hassle?"
Yu Sui looked at Time Luo and suddenly smiled. He went to the bathroom to freshen up, only saying, "Just leave it to me."
Time Luo walked to the small bathroom door, leaning against the frame, watching Yu Sui. He watched Yu Sui take a hair tie off his wrist and casually tie up his hair, then bend down to wash his face. He thought about how Yu Sui took off his shirt last night and held him while he slept. He thought about how Yu Sui was now handling things for him, and his heart ached, sour and sweet.
Was this what dating was like for other people too?
Were other people's boyfriends this good too?
Time Luo had been running a fever last night and slept poorly, waking on and off throughout the night. Several times he'd felt Yu Sui checking his temperature, and each time, Yu Sui would gently stroke his hair in comfort. It couldn't have been more tender.
So tender that in the middle of the night, even with a high fever, Time Luo had wanted to get up and post another update on his alt account.
Even though posting would probably earn him a few more reports for defamation.
After being reported a few more times, the account might really get banned.
Time Luo rested his head against the doorframe, watching Yu Sui freshen up with genuine attention. He suddenly felt like being reported by the team fans was only fair.
There'd been a comment before that was pretty accurate: [I'm not saying whether Whisper is actually in a relationship or not, but I've watched Whisper grow up from an adult. How could an inexperienced dating-noob like Yu Trash have this level of attentiveness toward a partner?]
Forget the fans not understanding—sometimes Time Luo himself couldn't believe it. That the dating version of Yu Sui would be this attentive and gentle.
Time Luo rubbed his neck. The more he looked at Yu Sui, the more he liked him. He glanced down at his phone, thinking about how Yu Sui had taken over his family's mess just so Time Luo wouldn't have to deal with the stress. His heart swelled. He wanted to say countless sweet things to Yu Sui right then—
Just as he was composing himself, Yu Sui, who'd been quiet for a while, suddenly burst out laughing.
Time Luo snapped back. "What's wrong?"
"Remembering what you just said to your dad..." Yu Sui wiped the water from his chin after washing up, looked at Time Luo in the mirror, and smiled. "What if he googles your name, finds his way to our team, and ends up on our official account? If I remember correctly, the last post on our team account was a photo of you and Chen Huo together."
Time Luo: "..."
"That misunderstanding would be huge..." Yu Sui hung up the towel and asked Time Luo, "If your dad thinks you're with Chen Huo, should I turn myself in, or should we just let Chen Huo take the fall for it?"
Time Luo choked.
Feeling genuinely bad for Chen Huo, Time Luo was actually hesitating for a moment.
"Barring random comments flaming strangers and reporting his ID, for something like this..." Time Luo couldn't tell Yu Sui was deliberately joking to make him laugh, and he analyzed it very seriously. "I'm worried my dad might confront him one day. That idiot Chen Huo has no idea what's going on and can't read between the lines—he might actually admit to it, and then—"
"Admit my ass." Yu Sui walked over to the door, amused. "I was just teasing you. I've worked hard to win this boyfriend of mine. Why would I let anyone else take the fall? Speaking of which..."
Yu Sui leaned against the doorframe too, and softly asked, "Want me to take that photo you mentioned earlier, just in case? If your dad doesn't believe it and asks again someday, you can show him the photo."
"The 'screwed senseless' photo."
Time Luo leaned back slightly, murmuring, "Don't joke around... I was just scaring him. If my dad really gets desperate one day, he might go for broke and release the photo."
"Then let him release it." Yu Sui said dismissively. "That way the fans will know too, and you won't have to hide your public displays of affection and get reported anymore. We can just be open about everything. Just remember to blur my more... sensitive parts in the photo."
Yu Sui looked at Time Luo, eyes full of warmth. "Shi Shen, I've already done all the dirty work for you—what else could I possibly be afraid of? What haven't I done for you?"
Time Luo froze.
He hadn't felt anything when his own father had threatened him just moments ago, but hearing these words, his chest inexplicably ached. His eyes suddenly grew red.
Yu Sui had originally been worried Time Luo might feel depressed about the family situation, so he'd been deliberately crude with his words to tease him. Seeing Time Loo's eyes turn red startled him. He laughed in disbelief. "What's wrong? What happened?"
The memory of that confession night—Time Luo breaking down and being unable to stop crying—was still too fresh. Yu Sui pulled Time Luo close, quickly switching from trash-talking mode to warm boyfriend mode, his tone softening even more. "Weren't you fine just now? Did I take the joke too far?"
"...No." Time Loo's voice was hoarse. "It's nothing, it's not about you, I just—"
Time Luo closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He didn't want to say more. He tilted his head up and kissed Yu Sui on the lips.
Yu Sui was stunned. After Time Luo kissed him rather clumsily for a bit, Yu Sui wrapped his arms around Time Luo and pressed him back against the door, deepening the kiss.
While kissing Time Luo, Yu Sui gently stroked his short hair, soothingly running his hand along the back of Time Loo's neck.
After a full ten minutes or more, Time Loo's breathing finally settled. He slowly leaned back, his expression already back to normal. He lingered on his lips, then murmured softly, "I just... like you too much."
Time Luo paused, then abruptly said, "Yu Sui, don't ever break up with me."
Yu Sui laughed. "What's going on? How did this come up?"
"N-nothing." Time Luo felt embarrassed about himself too. He frowned, murmuring, "The fans are right. After dating you... you really can drive a person crazy. I could never like anyone else after this."
Hearing this, Yu Sui lazily smiled and asked softly, "Shi Shen, let's talk about conscience here. What exactly have I 'driven crazy'? Have I actually 'driven' anything?"
Time Luo was at a loss for words. "No... I guess not."
Yu Sui nodded. "Alright, I'll take that as a compliment... Have you had enough of being sweet? Want more kisses?"
"No." Time Luo belatedly turned his head away. "...Do you want to take some medicine too? Will you get infected?"
Yu Sui leaned down and kissed Time Luo again. "If I was going to get it, I would've caught it last night."
There was a sudden knock at Time Loo's dorm door. Yu Sui ruffled Time Loo's hair and walked to the door to open it.
Zhou Huo looked Yu Sui up and down and smiled knowingly. "Hmm..."
Yu Sui acted like he didn't see it. "Good timing that you're here. Time Luo had a fever last night, today—"
"I'm fine." Time Luo called out from the small bathroom. "I won't miss practice."
Yu Sui smiled helplessly. "Alright, I'll go with his call. What's up? Here to see him?"
"For you." Zhou Huo handed Yu Sui two tickets. "Floor seats for Saint and NSN. Side by side. The ones you wanted."
Yu Sui took them. "Thanks."
"You two go, the organizers will definitely find out. Even if you don't mention it beforehand, they'll recognize you at security check. Should we give them a heads up so the director doesn't cut to you two during the broadcast? If we don't mention it, they'll definitely zoom in for a close-up shot."
"Nah." Yu Sui said indifferently. "No need to tell them. If they want to film us, let them."
Zhou Huo was very pleased with Yu Sui's "our closet door is always open" attitude. He peeked inside and asked quietly, "But wait, why does it sound like Shi Shen's voice is off?"
"He just cried." Yu Sui said helplessly. "He suddenly told me he never wants to break up, and then somehow started crying. Probably from the fever. When people are sick, they get sentimental easily. He's young, so maybe he's just—"
The bathroom door was suddenly slammed by the young entry fragger. Yu Sui diplomatically said, "He's embarrassed. You should go."
