Chapter 75: Horror Livestream (Part 12)
The man appeared to be dressed like a gentleman, wearing an old-fashioned swallowtail coat. The buttons on his white shirt were tightly fastened around his neck, giving him an ascetic and gentle appearance.
The large glasses he wore reflected a cold luster under the light, making the eyes hidden behind them seem devoid of emotion. But in stark contrast, he always wore a gentle smile on his lips—so much so that if one didn't look into his eyes, anyone would think he was a kind-hearted person.
When the man saw the people inside walking in, he suddenly displayed a childlike smile that didn't match his appearance at all.
He seemed delighted, or perhaps was anticipating something.
"Is this the big pot you were talking about?" Liang Xuan's tone became very strange, even carrying an indescribable fear. "Don't you think there's something strange about what's inside it?"
"There is indeed something strange." Zhi Le calmly nodded, smiling as he spoke. "But I think this should be the show's prank. Although it's quite bizarre, don't you think it smells delicious?"
Zhi Le seemed to陶醉地轻嗅了一口—seemed to breathe in the aroma with relish—"It really makes me want to eat it. I was originally prepared to devour it all by myself. But Zhenzhen kept mentioning you all, insisting on finding you. I had no choice but to come look for you."
Qi An glanced at him, then thoughtfully shifted his gaze to the pot.
Indeed, as Zhi Le had said, an extremely enticing aroma wafted from the pot. The broth was thick and milky white, and the meat on top looked plump and fresh—clearly having been carefully simmered for a long time. Moreover, it was hot; one could clearly see the white steam rising from its surface.
Inside were indeed piles of bones.
But the strange thing was that every single bone was exactly the same size. Precise, as if they had been measured and cut—each piece identical in proportion.
The pot was hot. If his previous speculation wasn't wrong, this definitely wasn't prepared by the show.
Qi An gently frowned, then slightly turned his body to observe the other people's reactions.
Liang Xuan's expression had already become extremely grim. She had just experienced such a thing not long ago, so of course upon seeing this scene, she would think in other directions.
Xue Qiuzhen's expression was also changing—she seemed somewhat afraid as well, but more than that was hesitation.
Only Zhi Le seemed to have already concluded this was the show's arrangement, completely without any intention of following a script or performing. The man was acting very naturally, and he seemed truly hungry—he even stuck out his tongue to lick his lips.
"Aren't you all hungry? If you don't want to eat, I'll go ahead." Zhi Le shrugged his shoulders, walked up, and without much regard, directly reached out with his hand to grab a piece, eating it with obvious delight.
Qi An squinted his eyes watching this scene, then suddenly his pupils contracted.
What was inside was... human flesh.
